Privacy information

This website is operated by Mark Wilton trading as The Soot Works, a Belfast-based chimney sweeping business. The following explains how booking-enquiry information is intended to be handled.

What you provide

When you submit a booking enquiry, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, postcode, service requested and, if given, a preferred appointment date and additional notes.

Why we use it

We use these details to respond to your request, discuss services and provide a price or appointment information. We do not use your form details for unrelated marketing without separate permission.

How forms are processed

When the site is deployed on Netlify, booking enquiries are processed by Netlify Forms and made available to the site owner. Netlify's infrastructure may handle the information needed to deliver this service.

Keeping or removing your information

Enquiry information should only be kept as long as needed to manage your request and any resulting business records. You can ask the business owner to access, correct or delete your information, subject to legal obligations.
